The visionary game developer, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has died in a car accident in the state of California he was 55 years old.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his car crashed and caught fire on a freeway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, as reported by.
